Dear members of the extended Swann family:
I wanted to reach out personally and assure you that Swann is taking all necessary steps to help keep our clients and staff healthy and safe at this time, and proactively maintaining a healthy exhibition, auction and work space.
We are all very concerned about the fast-moving developments in our communities, but Swann is committed to continuing to provide you with the excellent service for which we are known throughout the industry, while ensuring that we are taking all of the necessary and recommended precautions to protect the health of our staff, clients, community and city. As the situation evolves, we’ll post updates on our homepage.
In order to maintain appropriate social distancing, we would be happy to schedule private appointments to review material. As always, our team of specialists is here to help you with the auction process, so please feel free to call or email with any auction-related questions or concerns.
While you are welcome to visit the house’s upcoming exhibitions, now more than ever we encourage you to take advantage of all of our digital capabilities: tools that will enable you to continue doing business with Swann from the comfort of your homes or offices (even from your phones).

You can also reach out to our individual departments for detailed, digital condition photographs of items you might be interested in acquiring. As things rapidly change regarding COVID-19, we at Swann are following all protocols put in place by the Center for Disease Control (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), and the city and state governments of New York.
