The December 5 auction contains maps detailing Revolutionary War battles, important sea charts, ornithological prints, books with botanical plates, intriguing ephemera and other graphics. Among these is Bougard and Serres's The Little Sea Torch which was used as a reference on ships in the nineteenth century. It includes charming views of numerous European harbors and coastlines.
