Latin American Prints & Drawings

We see Latin American art consistently outperforming expectations each year, and a portion of the catalogue will be devoted to these artists, with work by Roberto Matta, José C. Orozco, Rufino Tamayo and Francisco Zúñiga, as well as Diego Rivera’s 1932 lithograph Open Air School, and a pencil-drawn study for the scene featuring the artist’s unmistakable muralist style: a woman teaches a circle of children and adults against the backdrop of toiling farm workers and an armed man on horseback.
